Square Enix’s Sci-Fi RPG Title Slated as PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System Exclusive 


SYDNEY, 19TH June 2015  SQUARE ENIX® today revealed that STAR OCEAN®: Integrity and Faithlessness™, the latest chapter of the highly anticipated sci-fi role-playing game (RPG) series will be coming to Europe (incl. PAL territories) and the Americas. Developed by tri-Ace, the celebrated studio behind the STAR OCEAN series, and with character design by akiman (Akira Yasuda), the game is set to arrive in 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system.

STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness is an epic adventure that introduces seamless transitions between gameplay and dynamic cut scenes, adding a new layer of depth and immersion to storytelling in the series. The popular real-time action battle system from previous titles has been overhauled with improved game mechanics and action sequences for a truly uninterrupted in-game narrative.

Set between the events of STAR OCEAN: The Second Story and STAR OCEAN: Till the End of Time, STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness takes place centuries after humans have left Earth for the stars. On a planet in the distant Faykreed star system, the swordsman Fidel Camuze and his childhood friend Miki Sauvester set out to protect their village from being swallowed in the tides of civil unrest.

STAR OCEAN: Integrity and Faithlessness will be released for PlayStation®4 system in 2016, and will be available with English and French in-game text only.

WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY combines classic RPG gameplay mechanics with fresh and imaginative toy-like visuals. As a brand-new title in the FINAL FANTASY franchise, this game can be enjoyed by both fans and newcomers to the series. Players will lead a pair of twins through varied FINAL FANTASY worlds and encounter the adorably familiar monsters therein. Capture and raise such familiar beasts as cactuar, chocobo, and behemoth to discover alternate forms and learn new abilities.

One of the key features of the game is the “stacking” ability, the siblings can adjust their size, turning small enough to jump onto the monsters during combat, or vice versa, shrink the monsters small enough to ride on the twins. . By customizing and stacking their army of monsters, players can create strategic tower combinations and take on challenging opponents.

Revealing the growing world of KINGDOM HEARTS, SQUARE ENIX® and Disney Interactive today showcased a new gameplay trailer featuring never before seen footage from KINGDOM HEARTS III.

Fans of the highly-anticipated title from the celebrated series from Disney Interactive and SQUARE ENIX will see Sora and his trusted friends, Donald Duck and Goofy, adventure through the world based on the hit animated feature film, Tangled. The trailer also gives new hints to the storyline and showcases gorgeous visuals, and new gameplay elements.

The world based on the film Tangled is one of many big reveals the team has in store and is the first announcement in a larger, deep creative collaboration between SQUARE ENIX® and The Walt Disney Animation Studios.

In addition to the gameplay trailer, SQUARE ENIX® released a special video message for fans from Disney’s Academy Award® -winning Producer, Roy Conli and Greg Coleman, VP, Worldwide Marketing and Franchise Management for Walt Disney Animation Studios. In the video, Conli and Coleman share their excitement about the announcement and Conli notes, “I think this is going to be an amazing journey for these guys as they get the richness of our story, and the richness of Kingdom Hearts...It’s going to be a phenomenal experience for the game player.”

LOS ANGELES - June 16, 2015 - Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, has confirmed it will showcase "KITCHEN," a technological demonstration for the virtual reality (VR) system for PlayStation(R)4, "Project Morpheus" (Morpheus), at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles beginning today. Furthermore, it supports the Morpheus system's increased 120 frames per second output, utilizing the high refresh technology to deliver a smooth and undeniably natural sense of presence to the user. In addition, "KITCHEN" incorporates DTS Headphone: X, the latest surround sound technology from DTS, Inc. (Nasdaq: DTSI), which provides an unprecedented level of surround sound through any set of headphones, greatly enhancing the overall sense of auditory realism integral to the virtual reality experience. Agent 47 returns in 2015 to invite players to a LIVE world of assassination

SYDNEY, JUNE 16th, 2015 - Today Io-Interactive unveils HITMAN™, the new digital-led gaming experience for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC. Launching on December 8th, 2015.

HITMAN™ will see players perform contract hits on powerful, high-profile targets in exotic locations around the world, from the highly fashionable Paris and sunny coast of Italy to the dust and hustle of the markets in Marrakesh in this creative stealth action game.

Gameplay focuses on taking out targets in huge and intricate sandbox levels with complete freedom of approach. Where to go, when to strike and who to kill - it is all up to you. And for the first time HITMAN will lead with a digital release inviting players into a world of assassination.
