AN ORIGINAL AVENGERS JOURNEY BEGINS MAY 2020

SYDNEY, 11^th June 2019 – Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix® are excited to unveil Marvel’s Avengers, an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Developed by Crystal Dynamics® in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal™, Crystal Northwest™, and Nixxes Software, Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on May 15, 2020.

Marvel’s Avengers invites players to live their Super Hero dreams. Outstanding storytelling and an ever-expanding universe come together in the definitive Avengers gaming experience. Master extraordinary abilities, customize a growing roster of Heroes, assemble into teams of up to four players, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Marvel’s Avengers features a cinematic story, complete with the high-octane action that Crystal Dynamics is known for. Featuring regular content updates, the game will take players on an epic journey delivered over multiple years.

Square Enix is also excited to announce a global partnership with PlayStation and will share more details about surprises for PlayStation players in the future.

Players around the world will begin their journey in Marvel’s Avengers on May 15, 2020.

Ending with a truly extraordinary final shot, Pawlikoswki's love story Cold War is a paean to the golden age of cinema and the universality of a romantic tale.

Shot in black and white and set in post-war Poland, it's the tale of composer Wiktor (Kot) and auditionee Zula (Kulig) who are attracted to each other, even though their fates should not be intertwined.

Landing a role in his troupe, Zula bewitches Wiktor, and as they cross Eastern Europe touring, their lines become more blurred, and their roles in each other's lives stronger than expected.

Cold War opens with local villagers singing and proceeds to let the cameras linger on the musical numbers and the committed performances of the singers. In fact, as it progresses, you could almost feel that Pawlikoski's more determined to archive local folk music and lore, before the story of Wiktor and Zula kicks in.

It is transcendantly shot; every frame oozes class as the black and white gives an eternal veneer to what plays out, but equally, the leads demand your attention to.

Kot channels inherent tragedy and frustration as Wiktor, the man for whom circumstance proves ruinous. Equally, Kulig has the kind of charm that lights up a love story throughout the years, and gives more than enough clout to the arc as it plays out.

Ultimately, Cold War will thaw even the most hardened of hearts as it dances the line between wondrously shot musical moments on stage and then veers toward the emotional intimacy of a relationship that shouldn't be.

Steeped in pathos, and riddled with seductive tones, Cold War is a luminous film that possesses a timelessness which is hard to deny.

Nintendo Continues Its Countdown To E3 2019 With More Details On What Fans Can Expect

NINTENDO CONTINUES ITS COUNTDOWN TO E3 2019 WITH MORE DETAILS ON WHAT FANS CAN EXPECT

Tournaments, hands-on with multiple 2019 games for visitors to E3, and Nintendo Treehouse: Live (with an indie day) add up to a week of fun

As the E3 2019 video game trade show continues, Nintendo provided more details about some of its activities around the event, which runs in Los Angeles from 11^th to 13^th June. Nintendo confirmed that the Nintendo Switch games available for people to play on the show floor include Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, which were the focus of a recently released Pokémon Direct. Other games on the show floor include Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order, in addition to various other games playable in Nintendo’s booth. Fans will hear details about upcoming games for Nintendo Switch during the early Wednesday-morning AEST Nintendo Direct presentation, with continued information during the week on Nintendo Treehouse: Live, with a focus on indie games on Friday 14^th June AEST.

Some of Nintendo’s activities during the week of E3 2019 include:

• Multiple game tournaments: Teams from around the world gather to compete in multiple Nintendo Switch games on Sunday 9^th June AEST in Los Angeles. The action starts at 4:00am AEST / 6:00am NZST with the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019, in which four members of the Super Mario Maker community will compete in a variety of Super Mario Maker 2 courses. Next up, fans can enjoy the action of the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 – featuring Australia/New Zealand champions Lime Soda – and the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 tournament, where the Australia/New Zealand squad of Ghost, SebPro101, Ichigo and back-up player PillowTalk will be competing as Team Australia/New Zealand. The competitions will be livestreamed in English viaNintendo's E3 2019 website*.
• Nintendo Direct: The presentation will begin at 2:00am AEST / 4:00am NZST on Wednesday 12^th June. The presentation, which focuses entirely on software, will offer a look at games scheduled to launch in 2019. Viewers can watch it by visiting Nintendo's E3 2019 website*.
• Nintendo Treehouse: Live: Nintendo of America’s Treehouse staff hosts a livestream from Nintendo’s booth at E3 that offers viewers live gameplay and commentary. The show on Wednesday 12^th June AEST starts immediately following the Nintendo Direct presentation. For the following two days, the show is scheduled to start at 2:00am AEST / 4:00am NZST. For the first time ever, Nintendo is dedicating Nintendo Treehouse: Live programming on Friday 14^th June AEST to focus on indie games. People can view every day of the livestream atNintendo's E3 2019 website*.
• Nintendo eShop sale: To celebrate E3 2019, Nintendo is offering discounts on select digital Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games in Nintendo eShop. The sale starts at 3:00am AEST / 5:00am NZST on 12^th June and runs until 11:59 (local time) on 18^th June. The full list of discounted games will be announced next week.

Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary is a brand new downloadable campaign expansion forBorderlands 2 – the award-winning shooter-looter that originally launched in 2012 – that brings players back to the wilds of Pandora for a brand new adventure that sets the stage for Borderlands 3(launching September 13).

Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection product owners will be able to download this DLC for free until July 8. 

Don’t own Borderlands 2 yet? Good news! It’s never been easier to get your hands on the legendary shooter because Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is currently available at little to no cost thanks to several ongoing promotions – full details listed below.

Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary takes place shortly after the events of the main story inBorderlands 2. Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault Map has been stolen, and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. You’ll step back into the boots of legendary Vault Hunters Maya, Salvador, Axton, Zer0, Gaige or Krieg to battle new bosses, explore new areas, and collect new loot, including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary. Join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on claiming the Vault Map for himself.

If you haven’t played Borderlands 2 to completion, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to jump right in and enjoy this story expansion. While veteran players can pursue the new level cap of 80, newcomers will be able to create a brand new level 30 Vault Hunter at the Select Character screen and dive straight into the action.

Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary is the fifth campaign add-on for Borderlands 2, meaning a copy of Borderlands 2 (Steam) or Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Xbox One, PlayStation 4) is required in order to play the DLC. Fortunately, both games are currently included in various sales and promotions across all three platforms.

·      Earlier today, Microsoft announced that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection has joined theXbox Game Pass program, making it available to Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost.

·      In addition, PlayStation Plus subscribers can download Borderlands: The Handsome Collectionfor free on PlayStation 4 until July 2 as part of this month’s Instant Game Collection.

·      Finally, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is currently available for 85% off on Xbox Oneand 97% off on Steam. Both promotions end on June 17.
