Danielle Panabaker Q&A ahead of Auckland's Armageddon Expo

Hi Danielle, how are you?
Great, thank you!
Danielle Panabaker Q&A ahead of Auckland's Armageddon Expo

Welcome back to New Zealand - it's not your first time here, what is it that keeps attracting you back?
New Zealand is such a friendly country, I’m excited to spend more time in Auckland this trip.

When you were here a few years ago, you went on a helicopter ride in the snow - are you a bit of a thrill seeker and how do you intend to top that this time?
I’m not typically a thrill seeker, but it seemed like a once in a lifetime opportunity to land on a glacier and then a beach shortly after!

What is it about our audiences that prove so enticing - and do you generally still enjoy the convention scene?
There’s an incredible sense of community at the conventions - people who have come together over a shared passion for storytelling that has touched them all. I love seeing that.

What's been your most favourite fan interaction during your years on the circuit?
I don’t know that I have a favourite, but I’m constantly surprised by how many people have been touched by The Flash and other work I’ve done.

You've been in plenty of stage roles as well, do you prefer TV, movies or stage - and why?
I really enjoyed the consistency of working on a television show - I’m so grateful for the relationships I made with the cast and crew on that show.

Are you working on anything exciting at the moment that you can tell us about - or is motherhood still keeping you pretty busy?
My kids always keep me busy, but I filmed something over the summer that hasn’t been announced yet!

Do you get chance to walk around conventions like Armageddon when you're not meeting and greeting? And if so, what do you get as a vibe from looking around?
Yes - I love exploring. I like seeing what people are excited about and curious about.

What's next for you?
I’m constantly looking for the next opportunity- both in front of and behind the camera!

And finally, what's one secret from the projects you've been involved in that you've never told anyone?
Couldn’t say - I’m terrible at keeping secrets! I’m a horrible liar!

See Danielle at Auckland's Armageddon Expo on Labour Weekend from October 25 -28 at the ASB Showgrounds.
