Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 Dex Review

Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 Dex Review

With its light feel and speed of response, the cumbersomely titled Pro X Superlight 2 Dex wireless gaming mouse is about one thing - ensuring that your continual use of this technology feels responsive and easy to use.

Promising to deliver up to 95 hours of battery life, the mouse's ability to go for as long as needed without becoming a nuisance is beyond commendable.

Sleek and sophisticated in its design (although potentially a little chunkier looking than most of its ilk out there) the taller body gives it some height on a desk.

But that's no bad thing given how you soon become used to the device around you and how natural it feels in the hand.

The design has gone for focussing on less weight and ensuring that there's no compromise in its performance - and after plenty of time testing it, it can be said the mouse more than delivers what - and when - it counts.

Programmable buttons make it near essential for gaming, but for everyday office use or just simply sitting around surfing the web or doing light tasks, it more than measures up.

It may be somewhat hefty in price for what is essentially a must have item, but given this has been designed with durability in mind and also for long esports session, the mouse soon overcomes any worries over cost implications.

With USB-C to USB-A cabling, an adapter and an adhesive grip included, the kit itself covers all the bases - and gains extra points for manuals and a cloth for cleaning - something that most mice often overlook.

Perhaps the only downside is how the mouse wheel on the front of it stands out, looking somewhat like a wheel from a kid's toy has been grafted off it and plonked on the top. It's the only low point in what is a generally superb piece of kit designed perfectly for intense gaming sessions.

While it can connect to the G-Hub from Logitech to tweak various settings, those who are unfussed about performance tweaks can ignore the edges these subtle changes will give the more serious-minded.

Performance matches the steep price, but for those who are serious about their accessories, this represents one of the best the marketplace has to offer.
