What's On Amazon Prime Video in November

November is here and this is what will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video in November

The Wheel of Time (November 19)
The Wheel of Time

The Wheel of Time is one of the most popular and enduring fantasy series of all time, with more than 90 million books sold. Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organisation called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers.

There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity. Based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy novels, The Wheel of Time was adapted for television by executive producer/showrunner Rafe Judkins.

The Wheel of Time stars Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Sophie Okonedo, Josha Stradowski, Madeleine Madden, New Zealander Zoë Robins, Marcus Rutherford and Barney Harris.

Burning (November 26)

From the lens of Academy and Emmy Award-winning Australian filmmaker Eva Orner, Burning takes an unflinching look at the deadly Australian bushfires of 2019-2020, known as ‘Black Summer.’

The feature length documentary wowed critics when it premiered last month at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and will premiere in Australia at the Sydney Film Festival on November 6.

Fuelled by climate change, the nation’s hottest and driest summer ever recorded resulted in bushfires that burned over 59 million acres, killed and injured an estimated three billion animals, and affected millions of Australians. Burning is an exploration of what happened as told from the perspective of victims of the fires, activists and scientists.

The preceding years of drought plays directly into the ongoing hot-button issue of climate change, with the film drawing comparisons between government inaction and media perceptions, and a bushfire season that would wreak an extraordinary level of destruction upon the landscape – as well as posing questions about how we move forward as a nation to ensure this piece of history is never repeated.

The documentary has been awarded the inaugural Sydney Film Festival Sustainable Future Award which is awarded to a narrative or documentary film that deepens our knowledge and awareness of the impact of the global climate emergency.

In I’ll See Myself Out, Tommy Little’s real-life antics and setbacks are sure to have audiences rolling on the floor in front of whatever screen they’re watching from. It’s foolish, funny as hell, and definitely his own fault.

Hanna Season 3 (November 24)
Hanna season 3

The third season of HANNA continues the journey of an extraordinary young woman, played by Esmé Creed-Miles, who was created by the sinister organization Utrax and trained to be an assassin.

Hanna is now secretly trying to destroy Utrax from the inside and free herself from its grasp with the help of her previous nemesis, former-CIA agent Marissa Wiegler. Together they have coerced high-ranking Utrax agent John Carmichael into aiding their mission, but her fellow young assassins, Sandy and Jules, as well as new foes are starting to suspect Hanna’s plot.

As Hanna moves closer to her goal, she begins to uncover not only a world-changing agenda but the true power behind Utrax that stands between her and freedom.

Mayor Pete (November 12)

Mayor Pete brings viewers inside Pete Buttigieg’s campaign to be the youngest President of the United States, providing an unprecedented intimacy with the candidate, his husband Chasten, and their ambitious team.

From the earliest days of the campaign, to his unlikely, triumphant victory in Iowa and beyond, this film reveals what really goes on inside a campaign for the highest office in the land - and the myriad ways it changes the lives of those at its centre.

Recently appointed U.S Secretary of Transportation, Buttigieg serves as the first openly LGBTQ Senate-confirmed Cabinet member in U.S history.
