Moss I and Book II: PSVR2 Review

Moss I and Book II: PSVR2 Review

Developed by Polyarc
Released by Sony Interactive
Platform: PSVR2

It's hard to not fall for the charms of Moss, a cutesy picture book fantasy tale that helps you guide Quill on a series of adventures.

One of the initial stand out titles for the PSVR when it first launched, this day of release port of the originals shows that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, while adding depth to the world the adorable little mouse finds himself in.

Having discovered a secret that puts her uncle in danger, it's up to Quill and you, the defacto guidance, to help save the day. Predominantly done by guiding elements within the world, the game relies on a bit of common sense and thinking to help ensure Quill gets to where she needs to go.

Smoother, sharper and infinitely clearer due to the PSVR2 capabilities, Moss and Moss Book II make great use of the OLED graphics to sharpen up Quill's world and also add depth to the proceedings. And with Quill chipping in to help if things get tricky, the game's levelling up for the PSVR2 makes it a strong family adaptation for everyone to enjoy.

A nice mix of both platforming and also playability, Moss and Moss: Book II make a strong case for a trilogy - and if the success of these ports are anything to go by, hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later.
