Pearl, Evil Dead Rise to get special Terror-Fi Film Festival screenings

The New Zealand shot Pearl, the sequel to X, will get exclusive NZ screenings in April thanks to the Terror-Fi Film Festival.

The Mia Goth starring movie will play in Whanganui (where it was shot alongside Ti West's X during the Covid-19 lockdown), Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch at the end of April before it's released on the small screen in May.

Also debuting is the latest in the Evil Dead series, Evil Dead Rise. That will get screenings in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch ahead of its nationwide release from April 20.
