Expats (January 26 )

Set against the complex tapestry of Hong Kong residents, Expats depicts a multifaceted group of women after a single encounter sets off a chain of life-altering events that leaves everyone navigating the intricate balance between blame and accountability.

Expats stars Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue, Ji-young Yoo, Brian Tee and Jack Huston.

DANCE LIFE (January 19)

Dance Life follows a select group of students throughout their final make-or-break year at Australia’s elite dance studio, Brent Street. Bringing with them a lifetime of dance, students arrive at Brent Street single-minded in their ambition to become working dancers and stars. It won’t be easy. To make it through the year, they will need stamina and tenacity as they work tirelessly towards the year-end Grad performance. It’s there they hope to secure that all-important agent who could make their dreams of becoming a professional dancer come true. From perfectionists to prodigies, and underdogs to the entitled, each has their own inner voice of doubt battling against an insatiable drive to make it. Which will prevail? Who will succeed in an industry where your best friend is a competitor, where the possibility of career-ending injury is ever-present and where perfection is praised but baring your soul gives you an edge. All may have the spark, but who has the fire?

THE UNDERDOGGS (January 26)

Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings (Snoop Dogg) is a washed-up ex-professional football star who has hit rock bottom. When Jaycen is sentenced to community service coaching the Underdoggs, an unruly pee-wee football team in his hometown of Long Beach, California, he sees it as an opportunity to rebuild his public image and turn his life around. As Jaycen works to transform the foul-mouthed Underdoggs into top-notch champions, he reconnects with his past, including an old flame and few of his ex-teammates and rediscovers his love of the game.

The Underdoggs stars Snoop Dogg, George Lopez, Tika Sumpter, Mike Epps, Andrew Schulz

FOE (January 5)

Academy Award nominees Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal star in Foe, a haunting exploration of marriage and identity set in an uncertain world. Hen and Junior farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up at their door with a startling proposal. Are they willing to risk their relationship, and perhaps their personal identity, for a chance to continue survival in a new world? Based on bestselling author Iain Reid’s novel, directed by Garth Davis and co-written by Davis and Reid, Foe’s mesmerizing imagery and persistent questions about the nature of humanity (and artificial humanity) bring the not-too-distant future to luminous life.

Foe stars Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal and Aaron Pierre.

ROLE PLAY (January 12)

Emma has a wonderful husband and two kids in the suburbs of New Jersey—she also has a secret life as an assassin for hire, a secret that her husband David discovers when the couple decide to spice up their marriage with a little role play.

Role Play stars Kaley Cuoco, David Oyelowo, Connie Nielsen and Bill Nighy

JAMES MAY: OUR MAN IN INDIA  (January 5)

James May takes on his greatest adventure yet: a 3,000 mile coast-to-coast epic across India, the most populous – and perhaps most extraordinary – country in the world. Starting by the Arabian Sea and finishing at the Bay of Bengal, his journey will encompass incredible landscapes, from the baking deserts of Rajasthan to the dramatic Himalayan foothills, and explore environments as diverse as the mangrove forests of the Sundarbans, through to the global megacities of Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata. Trying to understand India is no mean feat, for it can be a complex and bewildering place for the uninitiated. Simultaneously cutting-edge yet deeply traditional, it’s a modern, 21st century superpower underpinned by 10,000 years of its own unique culture. As a democracy of 1.4 billion people, everything in India is magnified - the streets are busier, the food is spicier, and the car horns are relentless. James’s task is to go full immersion: meeting the locals, eating the food, and trying his hand at everything from the ancient art of kite flying through to a bit-part acting role in a regional television program. And to help him navigate this endlessly fascinating country, he’ll be joined along the way by knowledgeable guides, all strong characters who’ll act as his sounding board and who won’t be afraid to call out his (many) cultural faux pas.

LOL: LAST ONE LAUGHING IRELAND (January 19)

Using his trademark wit, host Graham Norton will oversee the 10 comedic stars, brought together to make each other laugh by using every unpredictable comedic tool in the box … without cracking a smile themselves. With the added bonus of some celebrity cameos, their performances will have viewers - but hopefully not their fellow stars - laughing out loud. As the clock counts down and the tension rises, whoever can outlast their competitors will be crowned the first winner of LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland and win a grand prize of €50,000 for their charity of choice.

Lol: Last One Laughing Ireland stars Graham Norton, Aisling Bea, Amy Huberman, Catherine Bohart, David McSavage, Deirdre O’Kane, Emma Doran, Jason Byrne, Martin Angolo, Paul Tylak and Tony Cantwell.

HAZBIN HOTEL (January 19)

Highly anticipated adult animated musical comedy Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be “checking out” into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult film-star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the “Radio Demon” reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become reality.

Hazbin Hotel stars Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Alex Brightman, Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Christian Borle and Joel Perez.

INDIAN POLICE FORCE (January 19)

This cop drama unfolds a thrilling chase, capturing the relentless pursuit of justice and the sacrifices made in the line of duty.

Indian Police Force is created by Rohit Shetty and stars Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Vivek Oberoi, Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimoo
