Minecraft launches Cubeez in New Zealand
With just two months to go before the A Minecraft Movie launches in cinemas (starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa), supermarket Woolworths is joining in on the fun.
Woolworths has jumped on the Minecraft train, with the launch of their Minecraft Cubeez collectibles – a range of buildable blocks that represent characters, creatures and iconic blocks from the game, with 40 unique items to collect. They are free with every $30 shoppers spend in-store or online at Woolworths Supermarkets, MILKRUN and Metro stores.
Each pack contains one buildable cardboard block with 40 unique CubeezTto collect. Customers can build characters like Steve and Alex, creatures like Creeper and Enderman, and iconic blocks such as the crafting table and diamond ore.
As Minecraft mania sweeps the country, Woolworths New Zealand’s Director of Brand, Bríd Drohan-Stewart said: "Minecraft Cubeez are a fun and interactive way for families and gaming enthusiasts alike to get hands-on with the popular game.
“We know New Zealanders of all generations are mad about Minecraft and our limited-edition Cubeez collection will build a little extra buzz into their regular weekly shop." A special collector case is also available in store and online at Woolworths Supermarkets for $11.
