Everybody's Golf Hot Shots isn't a golf sim that's about you swinging like Tiger Woods and achieving success.

But what it is is a highly accessible pick up and play title that's interested in letting you press a few buttons, take in pals or the computer and just generally have fun on the course. With its overly anime cartoon characters and admittedly annoyingly repetitive selection of catchphrases, it's simple to get on the tee and swing into action.

Pressing x fires up the power meter, pressing it again will tell you if you've struck gold or struck out. 

It really is as simple as that - and while putting requires a bit more finesse, the game's ease of play is a major bonus for this arcade title.

Blessed with a wealth of modes, plenty of cutesy customisation and plenty of courses to unlock as well as players, Everybody's Golf Hot Shots is the kind of arcade game that's sadly on the decline thanks to how easy it is to play.

Working well as a family led title, this is definitely a hole in one for gaming and with its colorful graphics and outlook, it's hours of unexpected and welcome fun.
