American Hostage (21 September)

Based on the acclaimed first season of the scripted podcast of the same name, American Hostage is a psychological thriller set in the 1970s inspired by the harrowing true story of Fred Heckman, a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who is thrust into the middle of a life-or death crisis when hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis demands to be interviewed on his popular radio news program. 

Stars: Jon Hamm, Mireille Enos, William Jackson, Harper, Giovanni Ribisi, and Kristoffer Polaha.

SNL UK Season 2 (September 13)

The British version of the beloved long-running live American sketch comedy variety show, SNL UK is back for its second series! Each weekly episode welcomes a different celebrity host and music guest, alongside topical sketches, live music performances and a British take on the iconic Weekend Update segment. Adding a Kiwi touch to the writers' room is comedian Joseph Moore (7 Days, Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee). Featuring all 11 members of the inaugural cast: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.

Good Bones S1

When risk-averse bank worker Sal Anderson panic-buys a crumbling “as-is” house at auction, he thinks he’s securing a future for his pregnant wife Meghan. Instead, he’s unleashed a nightmare. The house is a wreck – and according to Meghan’s mum Deb, it’s where an Olympic hopeful, Linda Peach, vanished without a trace many years ago. Made with the support of NZ On Air.

SWAT Exiles (September 1)

Daniel 'Hondo' Harrelson is pulled out of forced retirement to lead a last-chance experimental S.W.A.T. unit made up of untested, unpredictable young recruits. Hondo must bridge a generational divide, navigate clashing personalities, and turn a squad of outsiders into a team capable of protecting the city and saving the program that made him who he is.
