It's a big month of entertainment on Neon in August.

House of the Dragon (August 22)

House of the Dragon (August 22)

The ten-episode HBO Original drama HOUSE OF THE DRAGON debuts  MONDAY 22 AUGUST on SoHo and will be available to stream on Sky Go and Neon. 

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200  years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House  Targaryen. 

Starring: Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve  Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, and Rhys Ifans. 


House of the Dragon (August 22)

Based on George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood, this Game of Thrones prequel co-created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. 

Starring Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel), Paddy Considine (The Outsider), Emma D'Arcy (Truth Seekers), and Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man).

Rillington Place (August 25)

A tense three-part thriller exploring the real life crimes of serial killer John Christie, after he and his wife Ethel moved into their home at 10 Rillington Place. Starring Tim Roth (Tin Star), Nico Mirallegro (We Hunt Together), and Jodie Comer (Killing Eve).


The Collection (August 8)

Scandal and betrayal unfold in a post-war Paris fashion house run by two clashing brothers. The staff may have survived one war, but others loom, rivalries and romances pit family against family, protégés against mentors, and the past against the future. Starring Richard Coyle (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Mamie Gummer (True Detective), and Tom Riley (The Nevers). 


City on a Hill (August 1)

Having left the FBI, Jackie Rohr lands a new gig running security for a wealthy family in Boston's high society Beacon Hill. Life is good until secrets begin to unravel. When an investigation opens, ADA Decourcy Ward sees an opportunity to finally rip out the machinery perpetuating a broken criminal justice system. Starring Kevin Bacon (Apollo 13) and Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton). 


Industry S2 (August 2)

The ambitious twenty-somethings at Pierpoint continue to carve out their futures within the cutthroat world of high finance. After selling out numerous co-workers, Harper navigates the toll taken on her career advancement and personal relationships. Starring Myha'la Herrold, Marisa Abela, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill, Freya Mavor, Harry Lawtey, and Ken Leung. 

Death on the Beach (August 24)

In 2015, 23-year-old Christina Annesley travelled to the paradise island of Koh Tao, Thailand - a place renowned for a series of recent suspicious deaths. As she dug into the mysterious events, Christina, tragically, met a similar fate. 


Take out with Lisa Ling (August 11)

Award-winning journalist Lisa Ling – whose own family story began in a Chinese restaurant - travels from the bayous of Louisiana to Orange County's Little Saigon, exploring the foods we love while shining a long overdue spotlight on the contributions Asian Americans have been making to American cuisine since before the United States was even the United States.

VENOM LET THERE BE CARNAGE (AUGUST 16)

Eddie Brock is still struggling to coexist with the shape-shifting extra-terrestrial Venom. When deranged serial killer Cletus Kasady also becomes host to an alien symbiote, Brock and Venom must put aside their differences to stop his reign of terror. Starring Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson. 


BELFAST (AUGUST 20)

A semi-autobiographical film from director Kenneth Branagh, which chronicles the life of a working class family and their young son's childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s in the Northern Ireland capital. Starring Jamie Dornan and Catriona Balfe. 

CRY MACHO (AUGUST 28)

In 1979, a one-time rodeo star and washed-up horse breeder takes a job from an ex-boss to bring the man's young son home from Mexico. Forced to take the backroads on their way to Texas, the unlikely pair faces an unexpectedly challenging journey, during which the world-weary horseman finds unexpected connections and his own sense of redemption. Starring Clint Eastwood and Eduardo Minett. 

SCREAM (AUGUST 5)

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, Calif., a new killer dons the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town's deadly past. Starring Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox. 

JACKASS FOREVER (AUGUST 26)

Celebrate the joy of a perfectly executed shot to the groin as Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and the rest of the gang return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd and often dangerous displays of stunts and comedy. Starring Johnny Knoxville and Chris Pontius. 

STILLWATER (AUGUST 7)

An American oil-rig roughneck travels to Marseille, France, to visit his estranged daughter, in prison for a murder she claims she did not commit. Confronted with language barriers, cultural differences, and a complicated legal system, he soon builds a new life for himself as he makes it his personal mission to exonerate her. Starring Matt Damon. 

LAST SON (AUGUST 12)

Hearing a fortune teller's prophecy that he will be killed by one of his offspring, outlaw and gunslinger Isaac LeMay goes on a murderous rampage to hunt down and kill all his children. Starring Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly, Sam Worthington and Heather Graham.
