Disney announces new collectibles for Marvel, Disney and Star Wars at Woolworths

Get ready Star Wars, Marvel and Disney fans - collectibles are back.

Timed to celebrate 70 years of Disneyland Resort in California, the all-new Disney Discs collection features 40 limited-edition discs with beloved characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars plus epic nods to Disneyland resort attractions like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Avengers Campus and Cars Land.

From Wednesday July 9, shoppers can score a free Disney Disc (plus character card) with every $30 spent at Woolworths supermarkets, Metro and MILKRUN in-store or online.

And while yes, this starts at the checkout, it definitely doesn’t end there. A $13 collector album folds out into a 3D game board giving fans a nostalgic, hands-on Disney experience that’s as much about gameplay as it is about collecting. There’s also a super-rare “Partners Statue” disc featuring the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle that fans will go crazy for – only a handful of these are in circulation.

Running until August 31st, customers can collect a free Disney Discs pack, containing one collectible disc and card, with every $30 spent in-store and online at Woolworths Supermarkets, Metro stores and MILKRUN.

The happiness can also be captured with an all-new Disney Discs collectors album.Available for $13, the album includes an exclusive foldable game board with 3D buildable replicas of some of Disneyland Resort’s most iconic attractions and experiences. The album brings the magic of Disneyland Resort right into the home, where the Disney Discs and cards become part of the game.

The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration features dazzling entertainment, joyful décor and incredible new experiences. Customers are invited to join the festivities and collect the special edition Disney Discs that celebrate 70 years of Disneyland Resort happiness. With 40 unique Disney Discs to collect, customers will discover characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, alongside designs inspired by magical Disneyland Resort in California lands like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Avengers Campus and Cars Land.

Also up for discovery is the ultra-rare “Partners Statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse at Disneyland” disc, featuring the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle – only a handful of these will be in circulation.
