Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike Mouse review 

When it comes to gaming mouses, there are a plethora of options out in the marketplace.

But the only way to continue to stay ahead of the game (as it were), is to innovate and ensure your users don't need to try another piece of kit. So it is with the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike, a mouse that's more for gamers than daily users and which gives a strong case for innovation, thanks to its inclusion of the haptic firing trigger.

First up, it's worth noting it's not a cheap investment for a gamer - it'll set you back around $350 currently, so you'll need to ensure that you're willing to put the cash up for something that'll offer a decent return.

Thankfully, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike does so with relative ease, offering a worthwhile piece of kit for fans serious about their gaming - and their occasional daily use of a mouse.

It's primarily the Haptics Inductive Trigger System (HITS) which make the difference when you're gaming, moving from a piece of kit which works well to a gaming device that takes on the life of a controller, in terms of delivering faster and more effective response times to ensure your chances of winning are a bit higher than with a normal mouse.

What it does mean is that the clicks are faster, allowing you to fire off more missiles in games like Overwatch, where sometimes the bullet spray is the only way. But it's the fact Logitech deliver this without so much of a blink of an eye that helps matters greatly. 

It's the customisation too that means that use of the switches within the mouse trigger can be set off lightly by only a gentle flick as opposed to a forceful push. Rapid fire's also triggered this way and it helps greatly that as soon as you've fired one shot, you don't need to wait to let off a second.

But it's this technology which you can see and feel that makes a difference to you feeling like you're using something new to fire off. As a result, it's a bit of a gamechanger that will stop most people going back to other gaming mice - though it does beg the question what would Logitech do next to build on this success.

Possibly those who are more competitive gamers will get a boost out of this, but even the most casual of players will notice that this technology makes the difference.

Ultimately, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike Mouse is still as lightweight and durable as Logitech would want - and coupled with the fact that it's built to last, this is a device that any serious gamer should be using.
