Rare 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro being auctioned in NZ for charity

The Sony Foundation is auctioning a rare 30th Anniversary PS5® Pro Limited Edition Bundle in New Zealand, with 100% of funds raised supporting the Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camp Program.

Released to celebrate 30 years since the launch of the original PlayStation® console in 1995, the 30th Anniversary PS5® Pro console features throwback design elements and a legacy colour scheme that pays homage to the iconic original PlayStation.

Each Limited Edition PS5® Pro console is individually numbered as a collector’s item, with only 12,300 made available globally. The release has completely sold out worldwide and is no longer available for retail purchase.

The auction runs until 5pm on March 16.

The bundle includes:

 Limited edition PS5® Pro console

 Limited edition DualSense Edge™ wireless controller

 Limited edition DualSense® wireless controller

 Limited edition DualSense charging station

 Limited edition console cover for disc drive

 Limited edition vertical stand

 Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing

 4 PlayStation shapes cable ties

 PlayStation sticker

 Limited Edition PlayStation poster (one of 30 possible designs)

 PlayStation™ paperclip

All funds raised will directly support the Sony Foundation New Zealand’s Holiday Camp Program - a unique initiative providing three days and two nights of fully supervised care for children with disability, at no cost to their families or carers.

The program is designed to empower high school and university students to take on full-time caring responsibilities during the camp, offering families the opportunity to rest and recharge while providing their children the opportunity to experience independence, connection and joy - addressing the isolation many children with disability face.
