Star Trek Into Darkness to preview before The Hobbit


Awesome news for fans of Benedict Cumberbatch. Well, the Cumberbitches will be happy.

It's being reported that 9 minutes of the brand new Star Trek Into Darkness will preview before The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

While the footage will show on some 500 IMAX screens in the US, there's no word yet on whether the same will happen here.

"Our longtime partners J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk and the Bad Robot team have really hit it out of the park—the footage is absolutely incredible," says IMAX Filmed Entertainment chair Greg Foster.
