Finding Nemo: Blu Ray Review
Rating: PG
Released by Disney Home Ent
So one of Disney's greatest gets the re-release treatment for during the school hols following a 3D cinematic re-outing.
It's the story of overly protective fish Marlin (Albert Brooks) who embarks on a quest to find his young son Nemo after he's scooped up by a diver. On the way, Marlin meets a raft of new people including the very memorable Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) as he tries to recover his son and learn to let go.
Finding Nemo is still one of the greats - it's funny, touching, warming and it's no wonder it won an Oscar back in 2003.
On Blu Ray, it looks great - the blues of the underwater world and the rest of the colours are brought vividly to life and the transfer's pretty high quality.
To be honest, you'll fall for this again and it's going to have that ever lasting appeal that great Disney films should have.
Extras: DVD and Blu Ray pack; deleted scenes, alternative opening, Knick Knack short - though sadly no sign of the Toy Story short which preceded this at the cinema.
